Yoga flow – yoga vinyasa flow

Original yoga flow experience by Christiana Manta
Combing dynamic asanas with the power of music…

Yoga Flow can generally be defined as a yoga class that incorporates energetic movement through a series of asanas (yoga postures), by which the student experiences a sense of fluid physical motion. Movement through these postures is matched with the breath, creating an even greater sense of flow, strength, ease and tension release.
So, whenever you see the words “Flow” or Flow Yoga to describe a yoga class, know that you will get a nice mixture of relaxation, breathwork, and energizing movement.
Remember to have fun in your classes and enjoy the flow!

Dancehall Class

Dancehall has originated from Jamaica. It was a popular music genre in the 1970’s. Dancehall dances has spawned moves that have a party like flavor and add a lot of energy to stage performances. It’s a street style dance form that has actually given birth to many moves in hip hop. Bogle is one the father of Dancehall. The seductive chant of the dancehall deejay part talking, part singing came to prominence in the late 1970s but dates from as early as 1969, when U-Roy experimented with talking over or under a riddim (rhythm). This multimodal African diasporic style also is evident in the hip-hop music of North America, and the origins of both can be traced to West African performance modes.
This workshop will provide you with movements and instruction on this dance format that can used in all forms of dance movement whether a novice or professional. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from one of the very best.
We hope during this workshop you will increase your confidence and knowledge of dancehall.

Get ready for some electric energy…
Maria Filippidou will be conducting the workshop.
